Councils who offer more than 1 round of fertility treatment

We're in lambeth in London and we're given 1 round of treatment which resulted in our son. We are lucky, but face more treatment to conceive another and it would have to be private. We're planning to move home anyway and are not yet settled on an area so I'm wondering if anyone's aware of any counties West of London where we could get another round? Thanks

I think all ccgs stipulate that to be eligible for free treatment, neither partner has to have a child, so I think even if you moved you wouldn't be eligible.

Ah right, I was wondering about that. Thanks very much

About a year ago, I head there were 8 ccg that offered at least one round if only one partner had a child. But there are zero that offer if you both do.

Fertility fairness has a link to each ccg's policy.

you will not be entitled to anything on the NHS no matter where you go as you already have a child.

I was only entitled to 1 go and even tho I misscaraged that cycle so still was childless they wouldn’t even let me have another go we had to pay

IVF is expensive but most clinics offer payment plans. I took out a loan for £13.5k which got me 3 cycles of natural modified IVF with all drugs freezing and transfer etc over 5 years which is £275 a month - I'm Sure you're aware that is considerably less than the cost of full time childcare (we waited until DC1 got 30 hours free childcare to free up money) or the cost of losing a salary to be a stay at home parent

Thanks so much all. @IVFdreaming, I hadn't asked about that yet so that's great to hear. Thanks
