Polyps: procedure or not?

Hello everyone, I have just had my FET cycle cancelled (after a week of stims 😖) because my doctor saw some shadows in my lining during a scan and thinks it could be polyps. She has said I can either have a small procedure to have them removed or monitor my next cycle (with stims, I have lining issues so without stims my lining hardly grows at all) to see if they have somehow vanished. Has anyone had polyps? Did you have a procedure to remove them or did they disappear on their own? I have read conflicting accounts on this so would like to get some first hand accounts!

I haven't had polyps. But from what I've read, they do occasionally disappear on their own. If I were in your shoes though, I'd want them removed.

I had one and it disappeared on its own – was booked in to have it removed and at the scan a week or so before it had just vanished

I had one that I didn't know was there. I had a hysteroscopy last December following 2 missed miscarriages and thought they were going to remove fibroids. They found no fibroids but a polyp.

My understanding is that they can create a hostile environment, so better to remove.

I had a polyp found and the doctor did recommend it to be removed as it could make implantation more difficult. However, I read online that removing polyps may not be that beneficial as scar tissue would form anyway where the polyp had been - with similar effect to implantation. I did also get a bfp eventually even though my polyp was never removed.
