Taking clomid with a lighter than normal period?

I started spotting last Friday (Hardly anything) and started properly bleeding on Sunday night. I took my first clomid pill last night (Tuesday)

My periods are normally very heavy for the first 2 days, then medium days 3-4 and then light for the last couple of days.

This period however, I had a medium flow on the Monday and a bit lighter yesterday and it seems to be lighter again today. Would it affect the clomid if I take it when I’m not bleeding that much?

There is still blood there, I think it’s because I’m so used to having really heavy periods it just feels a bit odd, and I’m wondering where all the blood is! Has anyone else had a random period that’s lighter than normal? I have taken a test and it was BFN.

Hi OP,

I'm on my second cycle of clomid now & I have found that it's changed my AF. It has definitely made it lighter than usual. I would just keep taking the tablets as per Drs instructions, I don't think it will have any effect on the way it works if you're not bleeding that much.
