positive pregnancy test & have just started spotting what’s going on ??

Today i am due on my period. I have started spotted . But I have a strong positive test . 5 test are positive in fact !! What’s going on here ? I’m so confused ..... go for bloods Wednesday ?

It’s likely implantation bleeding which happens around the same time as you are due on. As long as it’s light and not bright red there’s usually nothing to worry about. I found it lasted a couple of days - seems like the start of your period so it’s odd when it doesn’t come to anything. Congratulations!

Thankyou . I’m just so worried it’s going to be another ectopic ? Last time though I didn’t get bleeding until 5 weeks . At that point I was bleeding inside . This time it’s just small amounts that are pink / dark yellow, brown . I will have to see how I go . X

Yeah I saw your other posts after replying to this! See how u go. If your experience this time is different to your ectopic - that is a good sign.
From what you describe this is exactly what I had, and that was a successful pregnancy. If I were you I’d take this as a possible sign that the pregnancy might be in the right place this time. Completely get why you are so worried, so was I with the spotting etc and i haven’t had an ectopic before. Midwife said light blood which is the colours you describe is old blood and usually nothing to worry about. X

I had spotting (or sometimes heavier) everyday from 4.5w until 8w. My Drs were never concerned about it but I was petrified! It suddenly stopped one day and I had nothing more for the rest of my pregnancy. Try not to worry, although I know it’s easier said than done. Congratulations on your pregnancy.
