Access fertility

Hi All

Can anyone that used access fertility please give me a rough guide on what they paid?

If you do two rounds - does that mean two egg collections or two transfers?

I want an idea on weather we should just go for access fertility for the security on the money side. Did you feel pressure to get as many transfers within the two year time frame too? I’m worried the time frame pressure would be too much!

All advice welcome! Xx

Hey,
We purchased the 3 cycle ICSI package. It cost us c.£12k (can't remember to the pound unless I get the booklet out) with a 70% refund. For this we got 4 fresh cycles and unlimited frozen embryo transfers. It excluded initial screenings and tests (approx £600) and drugs (approx £1200 for fresh and £300 for a frozen cycle).
You essentially have a fresh cycle, then transfer the best grade and then freeze any others and you have to use all of your frozen ones before you can move on to your next fresh when the process is repeated.
We were extremely lucky that our first fresh cycle has worked and I'm currently 24 weeks pregnant.
Yes we paid over the odds but do I regret it? Absolutely not. Knowing I had multiple attempt at this took the pressure off massively and then if I got to the end and didn't work, I'd get 70% of my package cost refunded.
My view was if it didn't work, I'd get some money back so it wasn't a waste, but if it did work, I would give a damn what I'd spent as I wanted this for so long.
I'd absolutely pay it all over again.
Feel free to ask any questions.
Good luck with your decision and I hope this helps x
