Have lost all hope .....

Today , I went for a 4 week scan , I kinda knew they probs wouldn’t be able to see anything. The doctors also said the same .
I have to go back Wednesday for more bloods . As I’m at risk for another ectopic . I really am hoping so much that it’s not . I can’t be that unlucky surely ? Has anyone else been in the same boat as me ?

Hi @Lifesforloving1 sorry to hear you are feeling so down. I had an ectopic pregnancy after IVF. While it does mean you are at higher risk of an ectopic with subsequent pregnancies, most women will go on to have a normal pregnancy. After my second cycle I also had a scan at 4 weeks and nothing was seen- it’s just too early! But subsequently it all turned out fine and that pregnancy was successful. Very frustrating for you to have to wait to know the outcome but I have my fingers crossed it’s a good result. X

That’s reassuring to hear ! I’m just so worried it will happen again, in have been having some cramps ect all over my uterus which worries me even more . Did you get any cramps at all at 4 weeks with a successful pregnancy ? I’m really sorry worried xx

@Lifesforloving1 I had terrible cramps from about 4/5 weeks until 6/7 weeks. At one point they took me to the recovery room while I was waiting for the 6 week viability scan as I couldn’t stand up with the pain. I was convinced it was over but somehow it wasn’t! They stopped by themselves and I never knew what caused them. X

So strange on what our body’s so do to themselves isn’t it ! I’m getting cramps all over but more so on my left side, ( which is the only side with a tube ) that’s why I’m thinking it may happen again ! I’m probs convincing myself though a little bit ! I will just have to wait and see... I go back Wednesday morning for bloods X
