Communication during COVID - what’s your clinic done?

We were supposed to be going to Cyprus for donor egg IVF in April - all got cancelled but after that we have really had no communication from the clinic - there have been a couple of niggles before but I think we are loosing faith with them - have I had too high hopes or is our experience consistent with others? I know it is a first world problem in the grand scheme of things but we are trying to start to want to move on with the whole process.

Hi OP, good name for IVF!
Have a look on this topic and also on the Donor Conception thread about recommendations for egg donor clinics as you may find someone who has been at you clinic.

It may be they didn't communicate because there was no news, or it may be the norm for them.

I'm with Instituto Bernabeu in Spain, have had communication throughout (including when they were reopening at end of April, sharing their plans for cleaning, masks and spacing out appointments.)
Have had a couple of Skype calls, we did have a few changes of coordinator but the original one is back now which is great.

I'm happy with the communication but the most important thing will be the result in the end.
How committee are you, have you paid already? Think of the research you did when you chose the clinic, if the reasons still stand and when they can get you started again.
