So I've booked in for day 21 blood test and looked up that it should be 7 days after ovulation. My ovulation varies but normallyon 12 or 13th day. Well it seems to be coming on day 10 as I peaked on my ovulation strip today. So 7 days after tomorrow would be a Saturday? So here's the advice I need should I book the blood test for Friday and my progesterone might be falsely high or should I book for Monday when it might suggest it's lower than it is? When talking to the doctor beforehand she was quite blasé and said it was only a rough estimate anyway

Generally you ovulate 24-36 hours after peak.

If 7 after ov falls on Saturday, do the day 21 on Friday. If it falls Sunday, do the test Monday.

The result might be slightly out, but if there is significant progesterone detected from the test (more than like 1-2), you'll know you've ovulated at some point previously during that cycle. The progesterone level doesn't 'peak' as rapidly as, say, lh does.
