Private treatment before NHS

Hi anyone know if you are able to have private treatment done whilst waiting for NHS
We had all the investigations done earlier in the year and found all test clear for me and DH.

We have just been referred for IUI on NHS. Worried with COVID it will be 6 months before we have our fist cycle. We are willing to pay privately for a cycle but not sure if it then makes us ineligible for NHS funding in the future.
Any info would be great

It depends on your CCG. You’d need to look on your CCGs website to see what their assisted conception criteria are.
