Clomid without tracking scans

Hello!
I’ve been lurking on this thread but am finally brave enough to put a few posts up and would love to hear from anyone in a similar boat as me.
I’ve been TTC for a little under a year and I was lucky to have a proactive doctor who referred me as soon as my periods didn’t come back after I stopped taking the pill. Long story short the discovered my right ovary is polycystic. I’m on my first cycle of Clomid at 50mg, but because of the current coronavirus situation I’m not being offered tracking scans.
I’ve been trying to test for ovulation using OPK sticks (which I know aren’t always reliable) - I’ve had a few strong readings but nothing definitively positive. Yesterday I started to get a small amount of EWCM which continued to this morning - now it seems to have stopped though.
Is anyone in the same boat as me without tracking scans? It’s driving me mad not knowing if it’s working or not and I’m finding myself symptom checking the whole time! Also if anyone did ovulate on Clomid without a positive OPK test or much EWCM, I’d love to hear from you - just to make me feel like there is still a chance this cycle is doing something 🤞

Good luck with the Clomid, in the absence of scans just keep on having sex!

If it's any consolation I had Clomid with no tracking at all on the NHS 3 years ago.
I paid for a progesterone blood test and two tracking scans. I mean I don't think that is good but at all but in case you're worried.

You can get private scans at ultrasound clinics if you want to, though be warned the one I use (currently for IVF tracking scans) is mainly pregnant women there for 4D scans.

Hoping Clomid does the trick for you!

@JeNeBaguetteRien Thank you for replying to me! Yes, DTD diligently every other day. This cycle all I really want to know is if I’m ovulating - that in itself would feel like a success, let alone getting pregnant!

I did 5 round of Clomid without tracking scans, all l got was 21 day bloods during cycle 1. There was a strong belief by myself and medical professionals that l ovulated. EWCM did happen but rarely more than usual -ironically apparently Clomid makes you produce less

Hi guys, I'm the same I've been prescribed without scans. I'm tempted to take half of it at 25g as I don't want to end up with triplets or worse 🤣
