Blood tests during IVF

Hey all i have a question on blood tests in your ivf cycle. I am on ivf#2 and this round has been very different to #1, i feel a lot less looked after. Im almost at egg collection and i havent had one blood test to check any levels of hormones. They didnt even check that my levels were right to start stimming, i just had to start 14 days into downreg.
My first round they wouldnt let me start stimming until my levels were at baseline so i just cant get my head around why this cycle is so different 😕 it just feels like my clinic have made massive money saving cutbacks 😕

I never had any bloods. I did get mild ohss. But it was a successful (fresh) cycle.

Sorry OP that your journey hasn't been great so far. Have you actually spoken to the clinicians about your concerns and asked why the bug difference?

Is this round with a different clinic?

Thanks guys. They told me that they dont do bloods as it doesn't make a difference to the clinics stats overall against a clinic that dont do any bloods. Just feels weird as this cycle feels so different to the last, by this time last cycle id had abouT 8 bloods taken. I guess i just have to trust them....

Hi. Don't know if it helps, but I didn't have any blood tests at all either during my cycle. Just a few scans to look at egg development.

Thankyou! Knowing that this is standard at other clinics makes me feel a lot better about it all 🙏
