Anyone else currently riding the 2WW??? I don’t know whether to cry, laugh, decorate the house!!!! I just need to do anything to get me through this. Due to test this Fri/Sat .. anyone else testing then????

Hi, I'm due to test this weekend as well. I find the 2ww extremely stressful, I don't know what to do with myself either. I'm sure the kitchen could do with a layer of fresh paint. lol

Hi ladies, can I join!? I'm currently trying to hold off testing. AF was due yesterday but no sign still. Trying to give it a couple days to avoid being disappointed! I'm the same, don't know what to do with myself haha

I was silly and tested today (too early) and got a BFN. I’m really hoping it was a matter of timing rather than the true result. Keep your fingers and toes crossed for me please!! How long have you all been trying? I miscarried last time which was devastating and has taken a couple of years to pluck up the courage to try again. We have had IVF treatment and the embryo was transferred successfully, now just waiting to find out if it has implanted okay. Lots of belly cramps and lower back pain today - fingers crossed it’s a good sign ... 3 days to go!!!

@Just1MoreThing so sorry about your miscarriage, have everything crossed for you that this is your month!! All sounds promising for you. I also had a miscarriage, back in march. That was my first pregnancy, after initially being told I would struggle to conceive due to endometriosis. Have been trying/ trying not to get my hopes up every month since. Hoping this is our month 🤞 still no af, decided to wait until my boyfriend gets home from work tonight and test again then

I just tested again and still nothing. Losing hope now, still got a couple of days to go so hopefully some good news then.

I tested this evening and got a BFN. But still absolutely no sign of AF. So I'm very confused. Going to give it another couple days too and see how things are then! xxx

11dp5dt today and got another BFN. So frustrating as my boobs or soooo swollen and sore today and I’ve woken up with such strong nausea. Was convinced today was the day. Looks like we’re out too!!

So sorry to hear that especially as you are showing symptoms (maybe test again?) I think I’m out too - spotting started yesterday (day 23) like clockwork. I need to call the clinic Monday and ask do I start the pill on day one 😬 this is a rollercoaster. Good luck everyone xx

I have my blood test Monday so I guess it will be confirmed either way and we can know for sure.

I know you mean well by this Please don't loose hope until AF shows up, try to test in a day or so. but this isn’t true for the 2WW after IVF, so please don’t make statements like that which are essentially giving people false hope.

If your test is negative on your official test date, then that’s confirmation that the cycle is unsuccessful. The meds most people are given post ET will hold off a period for a few days anyway so whether or not your period has started is irrelevant.

I am guessing from your post and comment that you’re “out this month” that you’re not having IVF and the “2WW” you’re referring to is that between ovulation and doing a PT. On the infertility board (which this is) the 2WW refers to the time between the egg collection/Embryo transfer of IVF and being able to do a PT to see if the IVF cycle has been successful. This is a totally different kettle of fish to the 2 weeks between ovulation and starting a period (or not) with “normal” conception.

Sorry to hijack your thread OP and I’m really sorry you’ve had a negative test, but I thought it was important to point the above out as I think the other posters on here aren’t having fertility treatment or going through the same as you and are referring to a completely different “2WW”, which is nothing at all like the 2WW after IVF.

@EarlGreyT I understand, the 2ww is different. I’m sure @Chicasimona was just trying to be helpful.

I had a small amount of dark brownish spotting once yesterday and once again today. Both times when I wiped. I would normally be due for my AF visit today so I’m guessing my body is just trying to make it happen and the drugs are preventing it. Can’t be a good sign either way. Guess bloods will just confirm tomorrow?

I’m only a few days into the wait and it’s driving me abit potfuls already 🤦‍♀️

I am also in 2WW and have been having often watery black stool (sorry TMI ).. not sure if its due to iron in my prenatal but i never had this problem before 2ww or some kind of internal bleeding ! 2ww started with constipation and now moving towards diarrhea despite of eating all home cooked food.
Anyone else having similar symptoms ?
