The only thing to be mindful of with Evewell is pricing. We'd spoken to them at length and were very close to commencing treatment with them a few months ago. The whole team is of course very professional and all that, but the treatment cost can be MUCH more expensive than you think and it's not clear at all until you run the calculations yourself.
Initially, we'd wanted to pursue a more comprehensive IVF protocol. When they sent us the cost estimates, it unfortunately didn't reflect the cost for our scenario but just included everything and the kitchen sink. There was no total either, which was a bit frustrating. Eventually, I called them and had them run through, line by line, what each line item actually entailed, took out the costs that weren't relevant to our case, added ones that actually were (there were quite a few surprising lines that I thought didn't apply to us but actually did).
By the time I finally added up everything, I got a shock because we were thinking that with our £10k/round budget we'd be ok, but the way they went about it that round for us (including freezing of spare embryos) would have in fact cost £14k (!!) which was far more than we were prepared to pay for a single round of IVF.
I know it's meant to be a top (albeit new) clinic, but there was an element of frustration that the trust cost wasn't clear until the patient to the initiative to thoroughly understand the costs, and it wasn't part of their standard procedure (or if it was, somehow we'd slipped through the cracks and hadn't been given the explanation).
It obviously wasted a lot of time as we'd spent a good chunk of time signing their stack of consent forms. Just glad that we caught that issue later and now we're with a clinic that's well within our budget and pretty good based on our experience so far (and also has the added convenience of just digitally signing forms instead of hand-filling in about 200 pages of forms at the Evewell).
So just make sure you understand the costs fully before you sign up. x
