Symptoms after embryo transfer

Hi, I’m hoping someone can reassure me that what I’m feeling is “normal”.
I am 1dp5dt and I’m feeling an awful burning sensation in my lower abdomen. There’s very little threads about this, so haven’t found any help yet, and I’m worried it’s a result of infection. Did anyone else get this burning sensation? I’ve been having a few sharp cramps too which I believe is a good sign.

I never had the burning sensation? How are you feeling now?

I would contact clinic just Incase

Had twinges which some say implantation , others say period coming

On the one cycle that worked 5th , I had nothing and assumed failed again so when poas we were onfg

Apparently sometimes after ET hormones can cause a little “upset” but it soon faded back away again. Felt nothing yesterday, today on and off I’ve hard sharp shooting pains. This is our second round. Sadly miscarried after heartbeat was detected last time. Hoping for the best this time!

@Blondeshavemorefun are you currently pregnant now on your 5th round?

I’m not preg. Baby blondes is now toddler blondes and 3

But I try to give support as ttc for 10yrs and had 4 failed

Our 5th was the only ever bfp.

I was almost 44 when gave birth

From a cycle 3 where I was 42 and thi failed had some to freeze

@Just1MoreThing good luck with it all. Our fresh transfer failed last year, hopefully we will be doing a FET later on this year. Second time lucky for us both hopefully

@Blondeshavemorefun that’s a lovely idea. I don’t think anyone fully knows what to do until they’ve been there themselves.

Totally. Df and I went alone with ivf , one friend had years ago. Nhs and preg first time so didn’t get the understanding of failure

So us paying for it all and many failures was hard

I can totally imagine how hard it must have been. And the cliches that people come out with are brain damage “if it’s meant to be...” blah blah!
Well today I am 4dp5dt and I’ve no symptoms at all. Some small cramping before today but nothing now and starting to get urges to test early for reassurance, but I know there’s no point. So hard waiting and not overthinking it all isn’t it

There is no point. In testing early as could show posture via trigger

Plus if meg have to test anyway

Know it’s hard but don’t test

I always tested on the day tho hard

But on 5th I did do 3 days early. Think was 11 days instead of 14 as was my bday. But was negative but when did on the right day it was positive

But to be negative then positive few days later was wow

I didn't have any symptoms at all last week and started getting a BFP from 4dp5dt but I did transfer two hatching blastocysts

I will resist testing. It will only add worry, or doubt so no point. Lots of period like pains in my belly and lower back today. I don’t remember this last time, did you ever experience anything similar? @ivfgottostaypositive @Blondeshavemorefun @EL8888

@Just1MoreThing ours failed so lm not the best person to ask probably. I felt weird stabbing inside pains but no period type pains or back pains

I literally felt nothing! But this is also true of the transfers that didn't work too. Although I suppose a couple of times I felt "floaty" and light headed when standing up

I have a bad back anyway from nerve damage following my DD c section so I would struggle to tell if back ache was that or a symptom of implantation.

I also haven't had any cramping but I didn't with DD either

Also I tested out my trigger shot so I was confidant that any lines on FRERs that I saw were genuinely real ones rather that left over trigger

There really is no telling is there!

This was a natural cycle this time so no trigger shot for me. I guess any line is a true positive when I do it 🤷🏼‍♀️

11dp5dt and got a BFN this morning. Strange as I have all the symptoms today, sore and swollen boobs, nausea, dizziness and still BFN. I guess we’re out
