The Waiting List Diaries

So I've recently been put on the waiting list for IVF. With Covid-19 it means we are looking at a ten month wait before being top of the list so looking for some buddies to wait together with, any tips/advice or suggestions on things to do during this time and how to handle the wait!

Hi @willithappen we are in a similar position. We just received the forms to check our eligibility for funding. We have absolutely no idea about the waiting time, I don’t think the clinic had a waiting list before covid, but it’s not up and running yet. I think best case scenario is 3-4 months but really don’t know what to expect.
I’ve been doing lots of ivf reading since we were referred- I think it’s to try and feel like I’m being active with it all even though there’s nothing we can do.
Have you got any ideas on passing the time?
We’ve got unexplained infertility so we’ll keep ttc in the meantime (although the chances are v low it’ll happen now, and I’m sooo sick of it!) how about you?
