Letrozole cycle 3!!! Anyone else?

Hey guys im starting my third cycle of letrozole for pcos at the end of this week. I’ve ovulated the past 2 letrozole cycles but no pregnancy :-(
Anyone in the same/similar situation?

Hey. I'm on letrazole cycle no.4, had 3 rounds of clomid before that for anovulation.
No success yet :(
Fingers crossed this will be our month. X

I'll be on my 2nd this month so anoying I cant even get blood done to see if I ovulated the last month are yous on provera too xx

This will b my last round of letrozole so really hoping it works. If not, going to have a hsg test to check tubes are clear and then move on to 3 rounds of clomid.

Im not on provera.. I usually get my period every couple of weeks so didnt need it. Did they scan you to see if u ovulated?

@Rac3693 I'm cycle day 8 today.
This is also my last round of letrazole!
After 20 months of TTC I've had surgery for endometriosis, done 3 rounds of clomid and 4 months on Letrazole.
Next step is an appointment 6th July to discuss where we go now. X

Oh wow really hope this works for u. Did u ovulate on ur other rounds of clomid and letrozole?

I am also on cycle 3. CD15 Today ovulated CD13. Gynaecologist prescribed 6 months worth and told me to seriously consider IVF. Been TTC 29 months our second child. I felt really positive last cycle and was again destroyed when af came. This will be the first cycle I get my cd21 bloods done due to Covid.

@Rac3693 yes I ovulated every time but clomid was thinning my lining so switched to letrazole. Had day 21 bloods for my first cycle of letrazole but nothing since due to COVID. X

@Kt555 are u being treated for pcos? How did u conceive ur first?

@JadeS174 Good luck! I’ve been on clomid when i concieved my first ds and i’m actually finding the letrozole much better with hardly any side effects.

@Rac6983 no I have regular periods and I do ovulate based on previous blood tests. Plus I always feel ovulation i always have. My last appointment with gynaecologist was just before lockdown and it was very rushed, she mentioned low reserve but said my results were still very possible to conceive. I was 29 when I conceived my first (36 now) I hadn’t took any prenatal vitamins as expected to be trying longer, took us by suprise how fast we conceived. At the time I was a smoker and conceived while on a boozy holiday. Now I don’t smoke, don’t drink much and take several vitamins.

Hello everyone, I hope you don't mind me joining the group. I am on my first cycle of letrozole after being on clomid since November. I have found the side effects on letrozole worse than the Clomid. Dizzy, hot flushes and unable to sleep like normal. Been TTC since 2017.
Will be going through with IVF in august if the meds don't work. No mention of a HSG which I find really unusual. Hope you all have a lovely weekend, enjoy the sunshine 🌞

Hi all! Just catching up and seeing how everyone is getting on this cycle?
I had a scan yesterday and it showed a large follicle so I was triggered there.
Any news?

CD2 for me and starting 4th round of letrozole. Had cd21 bloods done and ovulation confirmed. Gynaecologist wants me to consider ivf but we can only afford one round.

Hey guys are you on 2.5mg?i had my first cycle pm 2.5mg but I haven't ovulated. Trying 5mg next cycle but feeling really disheartened

Would you not try clomid or injectables first if letrozole wont work for u?

I had my first cycle on 2.5mg which did nothing for me. The dr upped it to 5mg the next cycle where i ended up having 3 follicles! So for the next cycle we alternated doses every day 2.5mg & 5mg to try find the right medium - and it seems to be good - had one large follicle which we triggered two days ago. Good luck!

@rac3693 that's really comforting to hear. I've now been having flashing smiley OPK tests the last 2 days so god knows what's going on!

I didn't have any success unfortunately with clomid or letrazole. Was on the waiting list for IVF but have miraculously fallen naturally!

Awwww @jade132 congratulations this is amazing! Lovely news and it really gives me hope. i am on the waiting list for ivf while trying letrozole but no luck on my second cycle.xxx
