Create Fertility

I was originally under a hospital fertility clinic but it is not in a position to resume treatment anytime soon, so I have spoken to the hospital about our nhs funding (we get one fresh round) and my CCG has selected Create as their chosen provider. We were given a choice to stay or request to transfer, so we've put in a request to move our care.

Create was a clinic we were looking into anyway as my amh is slightly low (9.5, aged 36).

Just wondering about next steps and what to expect. This will be our first treatment, we've gone straight from investigations to the ivf waiting list, no clomid or iui etc.

We'll be at Create Birmingham.

Thanks in advance!

I've am Create Birmingham and just had my 5th egg collection on Friday with 4th transfer tomorrow. I really like it there - the staff are friendly and it feels like they genuinely care

Next steps wise you'll have a meeting with the consultant probably on video call. Probably tests they'll do if they haven't been done my the NHS.

Create only do short protocol or natural modified so no down reg - means you can start as soon as you get your period and the whole process is over within 2 weeks.

Their covid systems are really good - you have to wait in the car until they call you in and you have to wear masks etc

Thank you @ivfgottostaypositive that's really helpful. I've had 3 losses in the last year (2 MMCs and 1 before 5 weeks) but none of my recurrent tests have shown anything. Hoping that controlling things with ivf might help.

Good to hear their covid measures are robust. Hoping we hear something soon. My experience at the hospital to date hasn't been great, so nice to hear they're welcoming.

Good luck for your transfer!! 🤞 🤞
