Failed IVF FET - Stopped Pessaries but bleeding weird

Hi all, I had my first FET on a medicated cycle last month. Got a negative beta on Wednesday and stopped my estorgen and progesterone medications. Started my bleed on Saturday morning. Sunday lunchtime and the bleeding has stopped.

I’ve been told to wait till the second day of ‘full flow’ to start back on the pill so I took one this morning and now... it has stopped. What do I do? Is this normal when stopping pessaries? The flow was quite light but was not spotting - it was constant flow.

I've been there. Periods after IVF or progesterone pessaries seem different to normal. However you had more than 24 hours of steady flow so I think you're fine. So are you doing two FETs back to back? I'm surprised as my clinic has me wait several weeks to book into doctor follow up and then nurse consultations before starting another treatment. I'm day 2 of FET myself actually (I've had two others before plus various fresh transfers). Can't wait to stop this merry-go-round asap! x

Thanks. It is back to full flow which makes me feel better. Sadly we only got the one embryo from the first egg collection so I’m back on the pill in preparation for a July egg collection. Not sure what there guidelines are on back to back transfers.

Oh I see Michaela86. Sounds like you have a good clinic that don't keep you waiting. Fingers crossed you get some lovely blasts next month x
