Infertility related films/Netflix

Hey, as we don't have much going on these days I thought we could discuss some films/books out there centred on infertility.

I'll start, anyone seen Vegas Baby on Netflix? It's surreal, a clinic put up a free cycle of IVF as a prize. Contestants sent in videos and then judged.

Good exposure for the subject but really felt for the people who entered and didn't win. They didn't deserve to go through that.

Hi @Sachertorten, I watched Vegas Baby last night, the Americans really know how to do a good marketing :)

It just shows that a positive pregnancy test doesn't necessary followed by happy ending. It was a good example for what other options couples have or when to stop. I felt sorry for the Mexican couple.

Private Life on Netflix is good I thought

One More Shot on Netflix is so touching. It actually changed the way I see things. Real life/ documentary.

Oh and I agree with PP - Private life is good too (dark comedy).

I'm in the UK and sadly I can't see One More Shot on my Netflix.

Only You is another movie about the angst of IVF, worth watching!

I have seen Private Life, really great. Love the actors. I like these films without a 'classic Hollywood ending'.

Totally understand that a BFP isn't the goal, a healthy baby is the goal and we have been spoiled by modern medicine to take a BFP test for granted. It's good to step back, take stock and express gratitude.

Baby dust!!!

Oh I loved Only You...such a beautiful movie. And it felt more real that is doesn’t end with a classic happy ending.

Anyone seen Trying on Apple TV? I just watched the free episodes. It is worth paying for?

I loved only you as well, it was very realistic and agree they didn't end it on a positive with the whole everything works out spiel
