Hello,
I'm 40. Been TTC 21 months. 22 months ago my newborn son died at birth. He was conceived Within 4 months.
I'm now experiencing secondary infertility.

Ive had several rounds of ivf. Each time producing between 8 & 18 eggs and at least 80% fertilisation rates. However poor quality.

I've had x3 3 day transfer & x2 blastocysts. All bfn. Never had any to freeze.

I've had scans, HSG, mri etc. All fine. AMH around 15.
I have regular cycles. I ovulate each month - blood & scans confirmed.
40 is my issue.

I take folic acid, pregnacare, vitamin c/d/e, cq10 & omega. I've read it starts with an egg

My private clinic is perplexed as my first ivf round was the worst. Second the best. Third not great. Fourth similar to the second.

I'm going to have a laparoscopy, HSG & endometrial scratch as soon as my other clinic opens (July).
So they've prescribed me clomid for the interim.

They've also suggested also taking DHEA & myo-inositol to see if it improves my quality. I'm in the UK and every doctor I've spoke to has told me to avoid DHEA. However my usual Dr was not available at the fertility clinic & it was a different Dr that suggested I try these two extra supplements.

Has anyone tried them? Had success?
Anyone my age experienced similar?

And any clomid users - any tips???

As you can probably tell I'm prepared to do anything. The grief for me son and now my fertility is killing me.

Thanks in advance. 😊

Hi @SlothSF, i know this is an old thread but i was searching myo-inositol and your post appeared. I was sad to see no-one had answered you as sounds like you were going through a tough time. I hope you are in a better place now Flowers
