Clomid while waiting for FET?

Hi,

My FET was cancelled in March because of covid. My clinic has gotten the go ahead to reopen but I haven’t heard anything from them about when we can get started again. I have some clomid left over from when we were trying that before ivf (I have PCOS so my cycles are really long)...I’m thinking of using it while we wait for the FET to see if we have any luck as today is CD1, after a nearly 100day cycle.

But not sure if this is wise or not. Would you?

Yes. I would. And I'm not a clomid fan.

It seems you don't ovulate regularly, which is what clomid is designed to treat.

I think as long as you're prepared to risk not being monitored, go for it.
