Hi, can anyone recommend and IVF courier to transport eggs about 5 miles from one clinic to another? I'd be interested in costs too if possible.

Not for embryos but for my OH's sperm but we transported it ourselves. We hired a carrier from the clinic which was £100 and was very easy to do, much cheaper than a courier. It was about 25 miles for us. You just need to keep the container upright x

Thanks for the info @jodesxx .The hospital where the eggs are held suggested that. I was very keen to take that approach but the doctor at the destination clinic said it was risky. So I'm really not sure. Maybe its more difficult with eggs? I would happily do that to save money.

Hello! I'm just jumping on this thread as I'm also looking into couriers for international transport of embryos ( N America to UK). Its super nervewracking and so worried about something happenning/ a hold up in transit! Would love recommendations from any mumsnet folk for couriers you have used during COVID times! Any advice? Thank you :)

Hi, I have just had an excellent experience with Kynisi. We were getting messed around with another courier for an urgent sperm transfer and had already missed starting treatment on my last cycle and were about to miss another start due to the lack of communication from the courier. I spoke with Kosta on Monday morning and by Tuesday 1pm the transfer was underway. It cost £155. Short distance. May I add that Kosta organised this urgent transfer from Australia where he had just stepped off a plane. He was very professional and kind. Definitely worth a look. Good luck.
