Injecting Menopur

Hi all

Hoping you can help me. my husband has been prescribed Menopur by his endocronolgist to get his LH and FSH hormones up. But despite costing £2.5k for like 4 months supply they don't come with any needles. We asked the pharmists for them but they didn't have any and said we had to get them from the nurse. Rung the nurse and they had no clue what needles we needed and couldn't supply.

A friend of mine recommended a website she uses for medical supplies but I have no idea what needles to get to use it and I can't find it listed anywhere on the instructions or internet.

He is meant to be on 150 but only could get supplies of 75 as well if that makes a difference.

Can anyone help. This is so frustrating and confusing!

Hi @Bells3032 give fertility2u a call (online pharmacy who fulfil prescriptions for many of the IVF clinics). They should be able to help.

@wesstywoo thanks I gave them a ring. They were really nice but said they order it in pre made up kits so don't know the size of the needles though they know the colour.

@Bells3032 that's annoying, I had a pre made kit too and this is what was inside - hope this helps?
