IVF success for secondary unexplained

I'm considering looking into IVF after my MMC last year.

I am unexplained secondary infertility at 38.

Can anyone chat with me about success stories from a similar situation please?

Been massively triggered by my Google photo memory pics of my positive tests this week last year.

Any advice would be greatfuly recieved x

I started IVF last year for my second too following recurrent miscarriages and a ruptured ectopic where I lost my tube. I did 2 cycles of IVF last year with 3 transfers. 2 were BFN and 1 unfortunately was another ruptured ectopic so I have no more tubes. I'm currently waiting to start my final egg collection of a 3 cycle package and have 4 embryos frozen so far to transfer.

Once these are transferred we are stopping even though DD asks all the time about having a sibling. We've given it everything emotionally physically and financially (£35k spent so far) and thats without nearly dying twice! I will have no regrets about stopping when the time comes and just hope that DD understands one day x

I know what you mean about stopping. I'm afraid to even start.

Did they ever give you a reason for the recurrent miscarriages?

Thanks. Unfortunately miscarriages are unexplained - I'm also seen by an NHS recurrent miscarriage clinic and they found nothing, the only explanation might be poorer than expected egg quality for my age (I had PGS testing done on a cycle last year when I was 36) and chromosomal issues were found in both blastocysts.

My ectopics were as a result of my previous c section - lots of adhesions and scar tissue and the doctors believe the c section permanently damaged my tubes.
