PCOS TTC Metformin & Letrozole - What are your experiences?

Hello everyone! Smile First time poster so pls be gentle lol! I have PCOS and have been TTC for 2 years. I am overweight and have typical PCOS symptoms - I am lucky if I have a period once a year!

I have started Provera 5mg for 5 days (to induce an initial 'period'), 1000mg Metformin, Letrozole 7.5mg (CD 2-6), Vitamin D3 4000iu (very, very low in this - daily high dose until it returns to normal levels), Folic Acid 400mg and a Multivitamin. I have a blood test on day 21 and day 28 of my cycle to test Progesterone levels.

Are there other ladies TTC in a similar position? How are you finding Metformin and Letrozole? Do you have any success stories to share? Thanks in advance! xxx

Hi Leah, how are you getting on with this? I'm starting letrozole in a couple of weeks. Did you have a baseline scan? And did they scan you throughout?

Not sure if this is a dead thread, but ive just started my first cycle of Provera and Letrozole (ive been taking Metformin for a year and have been having more regular cycles, but we've been ttc since Nov 19 with no success) and interested in how you ladies found your experiences? Any success stories far?

I've literally done that same as you OP.
7.5 letrozole cd2-6.
Had a scan cd11 - 13mm follicle. Repeat scan on cd13 - 17mm follicle so now just waiting to ovulate.
