IVF failure and messed up cycle months on....any experiences?

Had 2 failed cycles, Oct/Nov and Feb/March. My periods haven’t properly returned to a normal pattern. Last month was very late (33 days) and light. This month was 23 days and is ridiculously heavy. Bleeding through a tampon in less than an hour with clots. Prior to all this I had a regular 28 day cycle.

No chance I could be pregnant as the last cycle we didn’t even get any embryos make it to day 5 for transfer 😞

Anyone have any advice or reassurance?

After my last egg collection (didn't make it to transfer as part of a 3 cycle package so back to back cycles and freeze until the final cycle) my cycle was over 40 days - I tracked ovulation and eventually when I ovulated I got my period 14 days later x

Hi Youngatheart00 I notice that if you add 33 and 23 you get 56. Half of that is 28 (the average, and your normal cycle length). I reckon your body will be back to 28 day cycles next time or soon after. Good luck x

Funny that cause the same just happened to me. Last one after IVF was 26 days and got my period today at 34 days which equals 60. Half that ie the average is 30 and my normal length is 29-31. So I'm in the same boat. Expecting next period in 30 days on the dot lol

Fingers crossed both of us are back to normal this month....will report back!
