Trying for baby

Been trying for our first baby for 2 years and have been off the pill injection for 4 years. I’ve had the amh test results were 5.3 which I was told was low for my age and would need to think about looking at our options sooner rather than later. I’ve also had the progesterone test on day 19 & 21 the reading were 23 and 18. I’m waiting to go back to the fertility clinic to see what they say but was wondering if anyone else been in this position and what road did they go down to try for a baby.

Sorry to hear about your current status. I fear we too are just at the start of our journey. We've been trying for 9 months (not long compared to some I know) but with the dreaded age of 36 just a few months away we're already taking things seriously and luckily our GP has been fantastic. We've already had several rounds of blood tests which suggested I may not be ovulating and had our first gynecological consultation in February. We were due to have a specialist follow up next month but not sure now whether that will happen with the current situation. I had another LH/FSH blood test today and am booked in for a progesterone later in the month. We've also been told to get my husband's semen tested and a pelvic scan for me (both are which are now paused due to COVID-19). There's a lot of uncertainty and some days are much harder than others emotionally.
