Think I’m having 3rd mc :(

I hope I’m in the right place on this forum.

I’m 6w1d pregnant and think I’m having my 3rd mc (2 live children). Has anyone any opinions?

I went for a walk yest and knew I was bleeding. Sure enough I was, I did a preg test with fmu yest and it was fainter than it had been (was an IC)

Because of covid EPU won’t see me and have told me to self manage :(

I have attached a pic of yesterday’s test (second test) and a second pic with this mornings tests...

Any help welcome at all ?

V v anxious. Xxx

Sorry to hear you're going through this OP! I wouldn't worry about the lines on the test lots of things can affect that such as hydration levels and especially in those cheap tests the amount of dye in them can vary massively.

How much are you bleeding? I had huge gushes of bright red blood at 6 and 8 weeks and nearly constant brown spotting from 5-8 weeks and I'm now 26 weeks and all seems fine! So bleeding doesn't always mean the worst. I had an early scan at 6 weeks and saw a heartbeat but I can honestly say it didn't reassure me one bit because the bleeding continued so even though you can't get to the EPU it might not make much difference to your peace of mind anyway.

Watch and wait is the hardest thing ever but it's really all you can do at this stage x

Thank you so much for your reassuring words , I really appreciate it . I am going to take it easy and see how the weekend goes. It’s great to hear someone’s been through similar and all has worked out. Congrats on your pregnancy xxx

Your tests are all different brands so it's difficult to compare them really? If you are bright red bleeding then I would say it doesn't sound promising but then again there are always loads of threads where everything has turned out ok? X

Mrsirvine · 18/04/2020 12:05

@lovelydream thank your for replying! I know, it’s a disaster. With covid I haven’t been able to get them. I’ve a delivery coming with some digis in and I will get some of the same brand I’ve used for tomorrow morning just for comparison. Xxx

Hi OP, sending you love. I've had three miscarriages (no children yet) and it is awful. I don't think I'll ever be able to experience pregnancy without being constantly crippled by anxiety.

Unfortunately the only thing you can do is wait and see. Try not to obsess about the lines on your pregnancy tests. They're not very scientific. You probably can't get beta HCG tests at the moment either, so just take each day at a time and if you start to bleed maybe call your EPU and see if they will scan you.

Hi !
Hope all it ok , try not to worry and over think things . After I lost my first I had a surprise pregnancy 3 months after (not like we weren’t trying but my first loss was with Ivf as we had been trying for 4 years , and didn’t ever expect to fall naturally).
AnywAt , I had 2 little bleeds abs went for scans, but I turned everything off ie phone and tried to forget about it. I know this won’t help and you will worry anyway , but Unfortunately what will be will be , and worrying and stressing and letting it take over your mind won’t help mentally. Our baby is now 10 months.
Hope every thing is fine xxx

@Mrsirvine - I know how horribly worrying this is but I also had truly horrendous bleeding at about seven weeks with my DS. TMI but there was so much - more than a previous miscarriage - that I was absolutely convinced there was no way things were ok. Almost impossible to do but try not to jump to conclusions and try to take it easy and keep really well hydrated. Wishing you a positive outcome!

Mrsirvine · 18/04/2020 20:23

@ACAL great to hear another positive experience! Thank you so much! I’m trying not to panic and trying to be realistic yet hopeful. Thanks xxx
