Hi all, just wondered when it's normal to have a period after doing IVF treatment. This is my 2nd round of IVF, however the last time it ended in early MC, so I seemed to bleed for ages and I dont have regular periods anyway so I basically had one every other month after that.
This time, we had egg collection on Friday 20th March but we're having FET so stopped all hormones, and I started to bleed about a week later so last Friday on the 27th. Sorry for the detail here but I normally have really heavy bleeds with clots and my cycles normally last 9-10 days. This time it's just been really light brown/dark brown and today I've got bad period pains when I'd normally get them bad the first could of days of the cycle.
Is having a period this soon normal? If so I'm happy with that as the clinic said I'd need a couple of periods before we can have FET (and obviously once this pandemic is over) I'd be happy if I could class this as a period as it's literally a miracle when I do get one! Thanks for any advise :) x
