I haven't had my periods for a few years and my doctor did a scan and he said that he thinks my ovaries weren't working well and then did a blood test . I can see my blood test results online and the level is FSH2 92.80 which is very high for my age (18).
I have an appointment tomorrow and i already know what hes going to say i feel like crying. I've always wanted to be a mum.

There are lots of ways to be a mum and this doesn’t mean you won’t find one.

@girlcalledjames But does it mean i will never get pregnant naturally?

Only your doctor can tell you that, but once you have the baby you don’t care much about how you got pregnant. I had IVF and it doesn’t make any difference.

@Girlcalledjames I know but as it is no one will go out with me and if i'm infertile i don't see myself having a family in the future. I'm devastated. How would i tell anyone future partner im infertile i feel like they would just leave me.

@freyase what day did they do the test on? It’s important that FSH is tested on certain days of the month (2-4 I think). If it wasn’t any of those days it won’t give an accurate result. Most places now say that AMH levels give a better indication of ovarian reserve so it might be worth requesting that? I know it’s so so hard, but try not to worry and remember it just takes the one egg! Xxx
