Advice after hycosy

Hi ladies, I'm just looking for advice and reassurance.. I'm currently under a fertility specialist and I had my hycosy on Thursday 12th March, today I have experienced discharge I've never had before. Sorry for the TMI but the colour of it looks like poo, is this normal? Also I have no blockages and scarring in my tubes and my fertility specialist said he wants to see me back in 4 weeks time and to keep trying because sometimes 'flushing of the tubes' can work for some people.. Has anyone ever had success with this? I have chosen to have clomid first then if that doesn't work then the IVF, I haven't got anybody to talk to about this stuff because all my friends have kids and are pregnant and they just say 'it'll work'. I know they don't understand because they haven't been through it but sometimes days are really hard especially everywhere I look someone is pregnant 🥺 sorry for the long post x

Hi, I had some brown spotting after my HyCoSy, although mine didn’t actually work. I think it was from my cervix being irritated by trying to put the catheter in (and ultimately failing!) so sounds like your spotting is normal, took a day or two before I got any after my procedure. Hope that’s useful, and I sympathise- it’s rubbish being the only one who is finding it hard
