7 DPO AMH Blood tests ?

Currently 7dpo , I have awful sore breasts & have began to cramp a bit again ? Today I have my blood test for AMH levels. What does this look into ?

It’s a marker of your ovarian reserve (the number of eggs you have left). It doesn’t matter where in your cycle you have the AMH test done. Your symptoms will have no bearing on the result.

@EarlGreyT Thankyou ! I thought it may be something along those lines but wasn’t 100% sure . My fertility nurse said it had to be done particularly on day 21 ? x

That’s progesterone not AMH. Progesterone level to see if you’ve ovulated needs to be done 7 days before the start of your next period, which if you have a 28 day cycle is day 21.
