HYFOSY can I ttc as normal after

Hi all,

I'm due to have a HYFOSY (previously known as a HYCOSY) I understand that you have to abstain from sex from CD1 until you have the procedure but after In That cycle can you carry on ttc as normal? I have just read some guidelines that say 'if you don't abstain that cycle you are at greater risk of ectopic pregnancy'. I think it means before the HYFOSY and is just worded badly but if anyone can clarify that would be great. Thanks.

you can ttc as normal after. just not before - if you do have unprotected sex before the hycosy they will cancel your appointment.
it also depends how you feel after, I had some spotting after, but carried on ttc the day after - some people say it can increase fertility due to cleaning out the tubes, it didnt work for me, I had mine 5 weeks ago! xx

Thanks @Morpho123 I have read it can increase fertility for up to 3 months after so there's hope for you yet. Fingers crossed.
