TTC 19 months

Hi everyone

We’ve been TTC for 19 months now. Tests have shown all normal according to docs, but after googling results can see that some although “normal” according to GP, they wouldn’t be for fertility doctors.

I’m in a strange place in my head at the moment, cos I don’t want to pursue IVF or adoption. Those options just aren’t for me personally. I truly feel that if it doesn’t happen naturally then that’s fine.

Is anybody else in the same boat? Or been through similar?

Hey, the GP labelled my results as normal when I could tell that they clearly weren't. In my case, fortunately the sonographer spotted something which led to me getting referred to a consultant at 11months ttc and sure enough they agreed the results were wrong. Moreover, the days I'd been tested were wrong too. On the right days the one result was better and the other still indicative of an issue. As you have been ttc for over a year I'd push for a referral, even though you don't wish to pursue ivf. It depends what result it is but some things can be helped with medication.
