Poor Grade Embryo

Hi,
I had my transfer yesterday, totally devastated as ive only got a grade 2CC and a morula, they put both back in anyway. Does anyone have any experience of poor grade embryos and BFP's?

I was in a similar situation and it didn't work out well for me, but I did find plenty of good news stories online so it can happen. In fact I still drop in on the Jan/Feb TWW thread and there are some on there who have been lucky with 'poor' embryos. Good luck!

My consultant told me that if it’s god enough to freeze then it’s good enough to grow into a baby. You’ve definitely got a chance. Fingers crossed for you OP

I think there was a Facebook Live with Prof Robert Winston recently (you might be able to find it if you Google).

Anyway, someone else correct me if I'm wrong here, but I think he pretty much says that cell grading doesn't correlate with outcome, ie a 'low grade' might be successful and a higher grade the complete opposite.

I'm a member of a few PGS testing groups and I've generally found that women who had genetic testing done - their lowest grades - the CCs were more likely to be normal than the higher grade ones so just goes to show that the grading isn't the be all and end all!

My only two embryos on day 5 (I only had 3 follicles and 3 mature eggs!) were not much different!

I had a 3CC and a 1- - (only just expanding, too tight to grade the cells).
We transferred them both on Sat 15th Feb and just got a beta result of 124 yesterday 👌

It absolutely is possible for these grades to take. Even day 5 morulas have a success rate xx
