Frustration !!

come on here for a rant !
So frustrated with my pcos !
Am suppose to be starting Clomid soon, but waiting for my period to start ! The last 2 months it’s been bang on thanks to metformin !
The doctor to me to up my metformin last week. since then I’ve been feeling absolutely crap ! And my period has not arrived !!
Any tips for hurrying my period along ?! 🙄

@Lifesforloving1 - I feel ya! I have PCOS along with many other fertility problems. Currently waiting for my period to come so I can start my IVF injections. This will be my second round of IVF, I'm so angry about not having a period yet! I can be irregular which is normal for me, but for the two months before this I was like clockwork. I'm so fucked off to be honest! Sick of waiting now! I called my clinic earlier and they said I have to wait two weeks until they'll scan me to see if I have any cysts (unrelated to PCOS) that have returned! Wish they would just check me now - I googled it and people have also said really hot baths can help, hot water bottle to help relax the muscles and sex! Hope yours comes soon! x

Oh sorry, I didn't mention above that I'm currently 19 days late... like I say, normal for me but when I'm due to start IVF, not happy at all!

@Dot457 so sorry to hear your having a crap time too !! It absolutely sucks doesn't it !! I’m periods have always been irregular, but for the last 2 months it’s been on track ! My fertility doctor put me on a higher dose of metformin and since ... I’ve just felt crap ! And have awful cramps . I’m not holding my breath for it to turn up as it probs won’t . Absolutely shit !! How long have you been ttc for if you dont mind me asking ?

@Lifesforloving1 - sorry for the late reply! Yeah it sucks, is there any sign for your period yet? Mine still hasn't made an appearance. I've never been on Metformin or anything as due to many other fertility problems I can't ever conceive naturally so IVF is my only option.

We've been trying for about 2.5 years now! I knew I had problems before we stated trying, so my GP referred me to a fertility clinic nearly 2 years ago now and thats when the investigations started. We had a round of IVF coming up to a year ago now but unfortunately had a Miscarriage quite early on. My periods haven't been regular since, apart from the two months before now. How long have you been TTC for? Fingers crossed theres some movement for you asap! x
