AM I PREGNANT?! HELP!

So I don't know if I'm getting my hopes up for absolutely nothing.
But I'm diagnosed with PCO and had my first period (naturally) after taking the coil out, and the doctor gave me letroz for a few days while the monitored my cycle with ultrasound!
They could see one follicule growing to the right size and my uterus lining up nicely so the gave me gonasi on Monday last week. I'm pretty sure I ovulated that night. Me and hubby did the deed Monday-Thursday and I'm now around 7 dpo. And I've been feeling very wierd and decided to do a test, although I thought it would be early.
I used cheap test strips (used the same 100 times before without a single line, from the same box) but this time it was the absolute faintest line I've ever seen. Is it positive or am I going mad?!
Can that injection affect it?! I just can't believe it. Please anyone with experience and good eyes!! Help!! 😫😫

I don't know about the injections etc but I can see a faint line on the test. And I'm always honest if I can't see them!
Probably best to test again in a few days first thing in the morning.

Don’t do that, it’s a waste of their and your time. They are unlikely to repeat the test as their tests are no better than the ones you use at home which are very accurate so it’s pointless.

I can see a line yes. Get yourself a FRER in a few days and test again. Good luck 🤞🏻

After reading up on it, the injection I took (with hcg hormones) could be in your body for 10 days depending on how your metabolism is) but should continue to decrease. I did one this morning and it's a tiny bit stronger, and that's 12h later. So if it was the injection I feel like it should be negative today.
I am a super active person, and drink a lot of water (3 litres a day) so I might have gotten it out of my system as early as 5 days...
I'll be doing one on Thursday, if it's still there and even stronger I know for sure that it's not the injection since that weak line means I have less than 10mIU so should be out of my system for tomorrow but I'll give it an extra day!

Just to show you comparison from last night to this mornings test in day light (both dried out) top is last nights, bottom is this morning.
Maybe it's just my eyes but I think the bottom one is more visible than yesterday, and if it was from my injection it should be fading and not increasing.
What you ladies think, is it a tad bit stronger the bottom one?! 🙈😫

I can see the lines, can you get a first response test? They are very realiable. 7dpo is very early for a positive although I got positives with both of mine at 8dpo but I have a short luteal phase. Good luck!

To me it looks like the second one is darker. Can you get a digital one and do it first thing in the morning?

I found a digital one didn't work as early as the other ones. It was the only type that told me I wasn't pregnant when the others said I was. I'd put off doing the digital a while longer if it was me. S

I do have other tests, but I feel like I should be doing the same test to see if it continues to get darker!
I have clear blue early and digital but not frer!
It's just so hard to wait 😅
I'm probably gonna do one first thing tomorrow morning and see if it progressed.

Yes it would, the gonasi injection the OP has had IS HCG.

It wouldn't go up when it's 8 days since I had it. It goes up when you have it and then decrease day by day, only getting weaker.

FRER all the way - other tests aren't as sensitive and digital are very less sensitive

I've not done one till now, since i didint realise this was the case!
Kind of wish I did one each day to see it go all negative so I knew it was out of my system!
I'm just hoping in the morning tomorrow it's not gone just even stronger 🙏

Update ladies. I have 0 patients.. and I did another one mid day.. almost 24h since I did the first one and this is the difference when I just both took them (top yesterday, bottom now) and I think I can tell for sure the line is slowly but surely getting stronger.. 🙈
So defo can't be the injection...

@SOFIE90 how diluted your wee was would also affect how dark the test is, not just the Hcg. Can you contact the fertility doctor you've been seeing to see if they'll do a blood test?

But I would say today is more diluted.. or same as yestrday. Full day of drinking 2 litres, and the one in the afternoon now is stronger than the morning 8h ago 🙈
