very low amh

Has anyone managed to get eggs retrieved with AMH below 1? Consultant thinks it is worth a try and has suggested taking DHEA. ANyone similar?

My clinic specialises in treating people with very low AMH - you have to be realities though that you might get only 1 or 2 eggs and so doing a 3 cycle package is advised x

Hi - this time last year I had an AMH of 3.9. I took DHEA as suggested by my consultant, had my first round of IVF and had 5follicles 3 eggs 2 fertilised. Unfortunately I had a MMC at 7 weeks. I started taking DHEA again in July,had another round in October and had 1 egg no fertilisation - it felt like the end of the road. I did another AMH test and it was down to 1.3, we decided to throw everything at a final round, I had dexamethasone whilst stimming, highest dose of menopur and I managed to get 7follicles 5eggs 3 fertilised and I'm keeping everything crossed at 13weeks pregnant. I think my next move would have been a natural cycle. But don't get too disheartened- yes realistic, but it can still happen. Good luck!
