No bleed after failed IVF

Hi all,

I had IVF last month culminating in test day on 29th Jan. I had spotting in the days leading up to OTD and fairly full flow bleeding on OTD. I had a very faint positive, retested the next day and still there, retested the day after that and BFN. The weird bit is, the bleeding stopped after OTD. I had some v light spotting after that but I wouldn't consider what I had a 'period'. I just mentioned it to the nurse when I called for to chase my consultants review, and she said to retest and go in for a scan on Wednesday to see what's going on. Anyone had anything similar? Don't know how worried I should be!

Have you done a home pregnancy test just in case?

My next period after failed IVF took longer to arrive than usual. I think it was about 35 days vs 28 which is normal for me. Things settled into normal after that.

I mentioned it to the nurse when I called to chase my review. She said to try another test (which I already knew was pointless esp as I have been doing OPKs which would have been positive had I been pregnant) and has booked me in for a scan tomorrow to see what's going on. Just hoping I haven't messed my body up too much! 🤞

Don't worry - I've had 7 rounds, and on all of them my next period was late by 7-10 days.

That should read all bar one, as that was when I conceived DS!
