Best thing i ever did, 5* from me. We did the 50% 3 cycle refund program. took all the stress out of it by knowing if it didn't work we wouldn't have to worry about finding the money for the next cycle.
I was so much more relaxed, It worked 1st time for us :-) so we did over pay but she is so worth it. x
Good Luck!!

@smith1986 thanks so much for replying! It's all been a minefield and all new to me as this is the first time we'll be going through the IVF route. It's good to get someone's views who have had the experience of access fertility. Feeling apprehensive about it. X

A friend of a friend used Access for multiple cycles - got the refund when it didn’t work and went again, she found them great to work with. Will be something we do if our NHS cycle doesn’t work as by parking the money upfront it at least takes the financial pressure off (aside from drugs). We are saving for it at the moment. Should the NHS work at least we then have a chink of money to make maternity leave easier.

We're looking into this too. Currently waiting for our nhs funding but saving up as well.

@justkeeprunning5 that's positive to know. We aren't entitled to NHS as we already have a little boy. At least with access like you say you're paying one set of money with knowing that you have the option of a few cycles.

@VenusStarr it's a lot to take in when looking into fertility clinics. I've spoken with a family friend who has been through IVF at the Hewitt Centre at Liverpool Women's Hospital and access fertility are in conjunction with them. She recommended to do some research, such as their success rates, average IVF attempts for a woman of my age (38), will all the treatment be taking place at the Hewitt Centre, what per cent of live births they have, what services access fertility use from the hewitt centre. I've spoken with access fertility who have sent some information, what programs I'd be able to do.

Thank you for sharing that @Lauraliverpool. I've got a clinic consultation at the end of the month. I don't want to use the hospital we've been seeing as I don't have much confidence in them - I'm also under their recurrent miscarriage clinic and they just don't offer personalised care. It's a bit of a minefield. X

@VenusStarr no worries, it's a shame when you don't have much confidence in the hospital that you've been seeing. Do you think that access fertility do offer personalized care? Very much a minefield my head is buzzing with all the information to take in. X
