Hiya

Congratulations!

In my experience, the lines did get darker at a faster rate than the photos you have put up, BUT it was a different brand. You’ve also got a few different brands so each one will be different anyway.

Please don’t torture yourself over this! I know how hard it is, but the darkness of lines on tests doesn’t mean a damn thing. My darkest lines were during my MMC - I was falsely reassured and it made the loss all the more devastating.

As difficult as it is, try to enjoy the positive result you have! Have you arranged your booking in appointment?

MrsLouB · 06/02/2020 12:53

Hi i have frer and botos own brand and testing with each each day so comparing only to there own brand. I know i am currently pregnant but cant help torture myself with the lines not getting darking having had chemicals before.

My official test date is sunday/monday and will be 11 days since my transfer. I dont have any appointments to make i speak to the clinic on monday if we get that far.

Then it will be another 2 week wait for our early scan xx

It is so hard, I do understand how all consuming it can be! I haven’t had a chemical, but I tested relentlessly with my first. Then with my second, having lost the first, I was basically not even vaguely human for the first 20 weeks of pregnancy.

It didn’t help, it didn’t change anything and even though it’s massively hypocritical of me to suggest that you do differently, I would hate to think of anyone else going through that too!

Have you got much planned for the next few days? Maybe keep yourself busy until test day? I tried not to think any further ahead than my next ‘hurdle’ which did help a bit to keep me in the present

MrsLouB · 06/02/2020 15:12

hey @Eggcellent29 thank you yeah i had this with my first MC at 6 weeks and then a the others when have disappearing lines too.

I have not got much planed my DH wont let me do much, but i may go for a nice long walk

i had horrible AF pains for a few days and then they went away and now they are there but slightly and i know this can be down to everything going on

@MrsLouB

I hope you managed to get out for your walk and it helped to clear your head :) Sometimes I don’t think the men in our lives know quite what to do!

I can see why having pains would make you worry. Like you say, there is a lot going on in there!

Do you have to go for a blood test on otd or did they say do a wee test at home? I remember ours was bloods and waiting all day for the result (I didn’t test ahead the first time) was absolute torture!

MrsLouB · 07/02/2020 05:37

@Eggcellent29 i did thank you and feel much calmer today and sick too lol its friday so all good. No ours only gives you a cheap preg test to do and call them. I wish they did bloods as knowing my levels would help massively as i would know where about they where ie not 25 etc but have to see xx

@MrsLouB I’m glad to hear you’re feeling a bit calmer! Although I can see from your post that you were up very early (or am I just getting lazy these days? 😂)

Ah, fair enough. It’s strange how different clinics vary! Did you have a fresh or FET?

aNonnyMouse1511 · 07/02/2020 12:10

They are getting darker but it’s difficult to track when you use different brands. Dye levels fluctuate from the same batch let alone different batches.

You won’t get a screaming BFP until ‘test day’ I guess - I have everything crossed for you xxx

MrsLouB · 07/02/2020 15:17

Hi @aNonnyMouse1511 i am using different brands but am now using one of each each day so i can track progress :-)

BUT i am not doing that until sunday again now

I am 9dpt today and a few more days to test day

@MrsLouB two weeks! So not long at all

I had LOTS of early scans. 6 weeks (I was bleeding), 8 weeks and 10 weeks. I’m not sure if they helped or not. Tbh as soon as I left my anxiety was back up but I don’t know how I would have got through without!

Do you think you will have one? Xx

Wintersun13 · 09/02/2020 17:36

Looking good so far ! Latest lines definitely darker. Also remember that something as basic as how much you've had to drink can impact the results.

I've also worried a lot after an early mc last time. I worried when I had twinges, when I didn't, etc. I've found that I feel so much better when I don't pay attention to symptoms/not symptoms (haven't managed it much until last week though...)

I know how hard it is but do try to keep busy on other things. It helps make the time pass faster too...

MrsLouB · 10/02/2020 05:48

Thanks both @eggcellent29 wow 2 weeks you must be excited.

Hey @Wintersun13 yeah i know all things that impact the tests which is why i make sure its fmu or smu with a 4hr hold and linked fluid ( taken many over my 14 period)

Sorry to hear about you MC xx ive had lots of CP which some people on these boards dont even think is relevant as they happen 4 /5 weeks but it does to me.

My line today on the clinic test was faint and ive had a back ache side all night so it does worry me. I have to speak to the clinic to give them an update and then they book me in for an early scan i assume 6-8 weeks so only time will tell xx

Thank you it helps to vent this tho otherwise i will drive myself crazy

Top pic at 3 min mark
2nd pic at around 10mins i think

Is the test from the clinic less sensitive? As the FRER line is so strong! Fingers crossed for you.

Wintersun13 · 10/02/2020 18:20

Could you try a digital maybe ? See what it says. Though only a blood test will give you a good idea of where you stand. Any chance of getting one, even privately ?

Maybe try also another FRER as the lines seem stronger on those ? They might be easier to compare.

Wintersun13 · 10/02/2020 18:22

I'm keeping fingers and toes crossed for you !
