Ovarian drilling

Hi all,
I had ovarian drilling few months ago and since then my partner has told me that he doesnt want to have . We planned for a family for over 5years and have been going hospital to help us. I finally had surgery and then he told me he wont have sex with me now because I can get pregnant. After that I pulled away from him now hes changed his mind and says he wants a family and I dont believe him

Hi @QMagpie11 I'm in a totally different situation but I just wanted to acknowledge your post and difficult situation you are in. I don't want to presume anything (or defend your partner) but from my experience men can really struggle with the pressure of getting their partner pregnant. Where sex used to be fun- it becomes mixed up with having to perform and possibly fail. Perhaps your partner is struggling with this? He may really mean it when he says he wants a family but he may have difficulties in 'performing'.
You are, of course, completely right in being wary of his true intentions with you and your future together. Perhaps you can talk about it in more depth?

You for thing QMagpie11 - what a horrible thing to go through. For me it would be a deal breaker. However, now he says he wants to so whether or not this is true, just start trying to conceive. He sounds wishy washy but if you don't go ahead just cause he might be fibbing then you will resent him and that's no good. A couple only has a finite amount of time to go for it. Once your time is up, it's gone forever no matter if he genuinely comes to his senses and realises he made a mistake. Good luck!
