Any early blastocyst success stories?

7th ICSI transfer yesterday - out of 6 mature eggs only one was still developing at day 5, and was a very early blastocyst. I feel so deflated and sad - I know, it only takes one, but DH and I are so desperate for a sibling for DS(2).

Anyone else had this and had it result in a healthy pregnancy? Or in the same boat and want to do the 2WW together?

Yes! My sole survivor out of 11 is now 21 weeks. I was told at transfer the blastocyst was in early stages and poor quality so very unlikely to make it. Felt so miserable and cried all through transfer but there is hope. Good luck

Did they give you a grading like 3aa? If it's got good quality cells it doesn't matter if it's a bit slower - it's still got a chance as it has made it to blastocyst in the first place 🤞

No, just grade 2 apparently, but an early blast rather than no longer developing apparently.

@HavelockVetinari i know this is an older post but can I ask how you got on? I’ve only got early blasts left. Used my blasts and expanding and chemical or implantation failures. Im already feeling defeated.
