I am about to undergo my last transfer from two fresh cycles of fresh ivf. I don’t feel that confident this FET will work so am looking to the future / next steps. We are lucky to get a good number of blastocysts each time and my AMH is high, but none have stuck which leads my consultant to advise its likely to be an egg quality issue as I’m 40 nearly 41 (although we were originally referred for male factor). She has advised a further round of OE ivf with PG testing. I am happy with the customer service / care at my clinic and have no complaints, however I realise all clinics take a slightly different approach in terms of drugs protocol etc. I wonder if I should change just in case a new approach works better for me, as obviously I have no informed understanding of whether the exact drugs protocol is the best one for me. Also my clinic don’t really offer donor eggs and I get the impression they’d only advise them in situations where it wasn’t possible to obtain eggs whereas I feel like I’d like to use them to ‘up my chances’ and wonder if I should change clinic for this reason. Please could anyone with similar experiences / dilemmas share their thoughts with me TIA x
