I've heard beetroot juice and pomegranate juice are good for increasing lining. Good luck 💐

I'm 5 cycles in and my lining has always been so-so. When it's on the thin side, my clinic double my progynova and I take half orally, half vaginally. That usually gives it a good boost.
I also take floradix (liquid iron) and drink a small glass of pineapple juice each day, but I think that's more of a placebo!

Thanks ladies have been drinking pomegranate juice. Multi vits, vit e, vit b6, vit d, folic acid, larginate, to name a few lol. Will see what the clinic say i have patches at present . I read some great clinical studies on the use of viagra to boost this in 97% of women dont see why the uk havent adopted this yet.

Actually I have used viagra in the past for lining - it was prescribed by my clinic in Spain but I bought it in Asda. It wasn't actually the brand name viagra but did the same thing. My lining did increase but again who knows whether it was down to that 🤷‍♀️

@jemimafuddlesduck oh really yes ive heard other clinics not in the uk do priscribe this. But id have to get my clinic in the Uk to prescribe it which is the issue. It has shown to increase the blood flow . Its great that it did increase

It's worth asking for sure. Or your husband could buy some over the counter....... 🤷‍♀️

Not sure but I’ve noticed since drinking pomegranate juice my periods have been heavier so might have thickened my lining up x

When I mentioned thin lining my doctor said there's things they can do, even viagra. So it is prescribed in the uk. I haven't got that stage yet though.

I guess you've already tried acupuncture?

esmerelda1988 · 17/01/2020 19:18

Could I ask regarding lining, what is considered thin at ovulation day? Mine was 5.2mm and from google seems to be too thin but the Dr didn't mention it as an issue.

MrsLouB · 17/01/2020 20:30

@seven201 my clinic wont prescribe it actually said they wont do anything at the moment as the minimum for them is 7mm but from research and clinics the ideal for implanting is 8mm -10mm.
No haven't tried acupuncture i dont have any extra funds to pay for additional treatment this month.

@esmerelda1988 normally the minimum is 7mm although so clinics will transfer lower its not ideal though
