@unknownscot
Yes..it might take 10 to 12 weeks to start as the initial consultation is taking 6 to 8 weeks.Depends upon your initial assessments also...

Hi everyone! Is there any update from your journey in GCRM.I got my ovarian assessment done..My GP ordered a 21 day progesterone that's very low...They have ordered some other hormonal tests.Have my HyCoSy scheduled soon...and then consultation with Dr Marco.

Hi, just wondering if anyone has reached the commencement of treatment yet? We just signed our consents and are waiting on a call. Just hoping someone can give me an idea of how long that takes? Thanks 👍

Hi there can I ask how you got on with GCRM in Glasgow have you been successful yet thanks

TTC0405 · 18/03/2021 15:17

Hi, I've been calling GRMC Glasgow to try and book an inital assessment. We've been TTC for 3 years and a tests came back fine with the doc so nothing was done. They're now saying I'm testing with symptoms of PCOS. I'm not prepared to wait now with the covid backlog making the situation with NHS treatment an even longer list. Private is just so expensive 😭

I am devastated for all the women like Sara who have been so cruelly and abruptly affected by this decision: medium.com/@sarathomp/fertility-treatment-for-unvaccinated-women-in-scotland-ends-with-immediate-effect-the-aftermath-d633ceadf8a9

@Anonn44 - this has made my blood boil. How utterly disgusting. Thanks for highlighting this awful situation. I do hope something can be done about this!

Hi, will be looking at starting ivf here within the next few months . Have already had initial assessments. Has anyone has any recent sucess?

PregnantandPissedoff · 06/01/2023 12:09

Not recent but got pregnant there March 2020, baby born December. I was hoping to bank eggs in order to complete my family but we only retrieved one so I was a bit disappointed at the time but overall I had a healthy baby so can't complain.
Now pregnant naturally which was a big surprise but would have considered going back.

I've just started the process at the Glasgow clinic. Currently on the FSH injections and due the egg retrieval in the next week - 2 weeks ☺️. So far it's all been fine. It's moved quite quickly and the staff seem nice. Xx
