What to expect After referred to consultant

Hi everyone
So after 5 years of trying for a baby, my doctor has finally agreed to refer me and my partner to see a fertility consultant.
I had my bloods taken today and was just wondering what happens next.
My doctor suspects that I have poly cystic ovaries, she hasn't really said what will happen once she has sent the referral.
What are other people's experiences

Expect lots of bloods scans etc they will want to look to see route cause.

If your BMI is higher than 30 they will comment on that.

My referral has happened quite quickly due to me needing an operation urgently on my ovaries but for me it was initial bloods and ultrasound before referral and then an internal scan on initial consultation at clinic with LOTS of paperwork to complete (be prepared with any questions). My initial appointment at the clinic was 11th November and I've already starting my injections. It has all happened really quickly as I'm on a short protocol, I believe a lot of people with pcos also get put on short protocol to prevent OHSS.

Be prepared for in internal ultrasound on 1st appt. I didn't expect it cos had a separate scan booked in.
