Lubion?

This might be a long shot but has anyone been prescribed Lubion and had to source the syringes themselves?

I've been prescribed it by my fertility clinic but we have to source the syringes ourselves and we're a bit stumped over where to get them.

We've been told we need:

• syringe
• large needle (typically 21G green needle; for intramuscular administration)

-- small fine needle (typically 27G grey needle; for subcutaneous injection)

There seems to be quite a few variations of the 21G and the 27G so I hoped that someone who had been prescribed this could point me in the right direction.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Kinney - I tried to obtain the above from the pharmacy I bought Lubion from (I’d assumed the needles would automatically be included but just got the vials with my prescription so only queried it with them at that point). When I asked what needles I’d need the pharmacist said it would be easier to check if the clinic could sell the needles to me as they weren’t sure of the exact ones to suggest. I rang my clinic and they agreed to sell them to me - they were less than £10. Also if not, your clinic may be willing to give you an example of one to take to the pharmacy as it’s easier to show them exactly what you need.

Unfortunately our clinic doesn't sell them and they don't have any on site at all :(

That’s so frustrating. Not sure what I’d have done! Hopefully someone else can advise further x

You can just buy them off Amazon / any online pharmacy and it should be pretty easy. I had some left over from previous cycles as I used the same needles for my stim meds, but also bought extras from Amazon - can dig out the links if you are struggling.
