Thread for IVF BFP

Got my BFP son Saturday after 3 years TTC, 3 cycles, 4 transfers, a freeze all and surgery in and between. It's been a slog and we are extremely happy. Trying to keep positive but realistic that it's early days still.

Are there any BFP threads for IVF ladies on MN? I've been on a very different journey than the usual fertile crowd, and it would be good to chat to ladies in a similar boat if anyone knows of any xx

I was looking for this thread last month. I do think it would be useful to have one.
Unfortunately I miscarried at 8+5 and if my FETs work I'm going to stay here rather than graduate to the pregnancy board. It's too painful to come back.

Keep it going! See you in March!

Massive congratulations OP. Not currently pregnant but DD conceived after similar journey and I remember that feeling so well. I was pregnant at same time as a good friend who conceived after having sex about twice (no bitterness, obviously Grin) and I remember just feeling very lonely as it's a very different experience. Even today DD is 2 amd i feel a little isolated from some discussions other mum friends have. It's a very scary but also precious time.
Wishing you all the best too AliceAbsolum I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. Keep fighting.

Hello, I'm in a similar position. Got my BFP a couple of weeks ago so I'm now 6wks + 5 days. I've been TTC for 3.5 years and had a couple of laparoscopies so very similar to you. This is my 2nd cycle, 2nd transfer. Got BFP first time round but then when we went for the 7wk it showed it had failed early on.
I've got my 7 wk scan on Friday and obsessively thinking about it unless distracted.

I had a look on the pregnancy boards but as nice as it was, lots of ladies saying it was a happy surprise and they got pg straight away so not really the sort of vibe I'm looking for!

@AliceAbsolum sorry to hear about your situation, TTC life can be so cruel. Really hope next time works for you.
