Hi everyone...

Would love to know of a list of supplements your taking to help preparation for IVF rounds. After 1st failed cycle looking to see if I can help the matter myself with any supplements.
I have low AMH 5.1 at age 33 and responded poorly to treatment. So any helpful hints and tips for me and everyone please share!

Thanks!Smile

Hi @TTCRose,

I am just about to start my first IVF cycle and am doing 3 cycles of Letrozole in the meantime- so no success stories to tell you about unfortunately! However, I would recommend reading 'it starts with the egg' as the author goes through which supplements to take for which circumstances. I found it really interesting and have added in a few supplements such as Ubiquinol because of it. It takes 3 months to grow an egg so ideally make the changes now if you can! Fingers crossed for you!

I am taking ubiquinol, vitamin d, liquid iron, complex vitamin b and Royal Jelly. Fertility doctor was happy with this combination and told me to continue

TTCRose · 20/12/2019 21:45

Where do you get your supplements from @CarbsAndCheese @EL8888 ?

I used this as a basis for deciding which to take:

www.fertilityfriends.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=294994.0

Currently take coq10 ubiquinol, 3 x omega 3 fish oil, pregnacare multivitamin, vitamin e, ultra resveratol, magnesium, pine bark extract, L-arginine, vit b6, vit d, dhea, a good probiotic. For infertility and for my endometriosis.

@Iwouldbecomplex thanks for sharing the link. What brand do you take for ubiquinol and what dosage?

Iwouldbecomplex · 21/12/2019 21:19

@Lilice - this one and I take one a day

Ubiquinol 300mg 60 Softgels EAF CoQ10 (Enhanced Absorption Formula Coenzyme Q10) https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00U0G1HVU/ref=cmswwrcppapiii_1WO.Db3F7G3XC

I was told to endirexa good amount of selenium too. It worked!
I actually did it by eating brazil nuts.

Lilice · 21/12/2019 21:22

@Iwouldbecomplex thank you

TTCRose · 29/12/2019 22:10

Where do you buy your supplements like co-enzyme/ubiquinol from? And what dose as it's rather pricey?!

Any other suggestions for low AMH and poor responder greatly appreciated!!

itstartswiththeegg.com/uk-supplement-buying-guide/

Some recommendations here. The book is good but if you don’t want to read it (covers dosages) then you might find the info on the website is enough.

Wesstywoo · 31/12/2019 08:07

I get ubiquinol from Nature's Best (they have their own website). DHEA from Biovea but that should only be taken under consultant supervision as it isn't suitable for everyone

TTCRose · 01/01/2020 12:12

Anyone used this brand? Is this the right type?

Hi i am just about to start FET after failed IVF and my AMH is very low 2.5 at 39. But this doesn't seem to be an issue as low as quality good. I have been taking and adding in L-arginine, vit e, vit b6 Q10, omega 3 told by dr high dose and folic acid high dose along with lose dose aspirin, selenium and a pregnancy vit. Drs happy as want to improve lining and egg quality can only help. best of luck.
